Summer at Greenwich Peninsula — Festivals, Food & Community
A summer highlight film capturing the festivals, food stalls, interactive workshops and community-led activities that make Greenwich Peninsula one of London's most vibrant warm-weather destinations.
Brief
Summer at Greenwich Peninsula is always a celebration of culture, community and creativity. Greenwich Peninsula commissioned Vivid Squad to capture the highlights of their summer programme — a vibrant mix of festival performances, interactive workshops, food stalls, and community-led activities spread across the estate.
The brief was to produce a highlight film that could work both as a celebration of what happened and as a piece of content that would make future visitors want to be part of it. Summer events at Greenwich Peninsula draw an eclectic mix of families, creatives, and local residents — and the content needed to reflect that breadth of experience rather than flatten it into a generic festival reel.
As Vivid Squad's ongoing production partner for events and activations, Greenwich Peninsula trusted the team to arrive on the day with a clear editorial instinct — knowing which moments to chase, which performers to follow, and how to weave food, activity, and community atmosphere into a cohesive visual story.

About the Project
The summer programme at Greenwich Peninsula brings together some of the most varied content you'll find at any London estate — live festival performances, hands-on community workshops, independent food vendors, and activations designed to draw in visitors of every age and background. That variety is what makes it compelling to film: every corner of the site offers something different, and the edit reflects that energy.
A summer highlight film of this kind serves multiple purposes simultaneously. In the moment it extends the event's reach beyond the people who attended, giving followers and supporters a way to experience it vicariously. Over time it becomes an evergreen piece of promotional content that demonstrates what the estate offers — useful for partnership conversations, press coverage, and encouraging attendance at future events.
This project is part of Vivid Squad's ongoing content partnership with Greenwich Peninsula, covering events and activations across the estate throughout the year. Each shoot builds on shared knowledge of the site and the client's editorial preferences — which means less setup time and more focus on capturing the moments that matter.

FAQ
Common questions
Do you produce summer event highlight films for estates and venues in London?
Yes — summer festivals, community days, and outdoor activations are a core part of what we cover. Events like these demand reactive camera work across multiple zones simultaneously, and a clear editorial instinct for what will hold attention in the edit. We've covered summer programmes at Greenwich Peninsula, Broadgate, Canada Water, and other major London locations.
What makes a strong event highlight film?
The best event highlight films feel like an invitation rather than a record. They're structured to open with the most visually compelling imagery, move through the energy of the day, and close on something that leaves the viewer wanting to attend next time. That means making editorial decisions on the day — not just pointing a camera at everything and hoping the edit works itself out.
Can you handle both event videography and social media content at the same shoot?
Absolutely — this is one of the most efficient ways to work. We capture the day with both the long-form highlight film and short-form vertical cuts in mind, so you come away with a main film for YouTube and your website plus ready-to-publish content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Stories. One shoot, two distinct content formats.
