Kahani Events — a high-end event catering brand founded by Chef Peter Joseph — commissioned Vivid Squad to produce a promotional video at Boreham House, an 18th-century stately home in Essex, noted for its breath-taking mirrored lake.

Kahani Events are renowned for creating bespoke, enviable events, with cuisine crafted from the season's finest, freshest ingredients. The brief was to produce a promotional video that communicated the quality of their offering in a setting that matched its ambition — capturing the food, the service, and the location in a way that would convince high-value clients to book.

About the Project

Boreham House is a venue that does half the work for you — the mirrored lake, the Georgian architecture, the grounds. The challenge was ensuring the video matched the visual quality of the setting and conveyed the experience of a Kahani event rather than simply documenting a location.

Drone footage was central to the brief: aerial views of the mirrored lake and the house give the video a cinematic scale that ground-level filming alone cannot produce. Combined with close food and detail shots, the result was a promotional asset that communicated both the quality of the cuisine and the grandeur of the events Kahani are trusted to deliver.
